Co-hosted with Grant Thornton, this session brought a Top 4 firm’s sustainability expertise directly to the construction sector — a space where ESG is fast shifting from buzzword to business requirement. Dr Hema Surendranathan and Jeremy Chee guided participants through embedding ESG into company practice, key Malaysian regulations for construction, and a deep dive into supply chain sustainability — including the GHG Protocol, Scope 3 emissions, and how to actually measure supplier sustainability performance. With close to 125 attendees joining online and in person, it was one of our most well-attended sessions to date.

Participants came away with a working understanding of where their organisation stands on the ESG curve and concrete tools to start measuring and improving supply chain sustainability.
